Brains students attend MUNISH 2021
From November 5th-7th, fifteen students from Brains La Moraleja and two students from Brains Maria Lombillo travelled to The Hague to participate in the 31st session of MUNISH.
Over 900 students participated in the conference, which featured fifteen UN Committees debating a wide range of topics from “The Situation in the Crimean Peninsula (NATO)” to “Countering Unemployment Caused by Automation (ECOSOC)”. Perhaps what most impressed our students was that the entire conference was organized and managed by students. Aside from the teachers and chaperones from visiting schools, only four teachers from the International School of the Hague were in attendance. It was inspiring to see how much young people can do when given the opportunity.
On Saturday evening, students had a chance to see the city center and dine in an Italian restaurant. They also attended the MUNISH party at Madurodam.
Everyone had a great time and we were very fortunate to have lovely weather.
Brains students are excited to be planning for our own MUN conference in June 2021: BrainsMUN (3rd Edition).
